Prince Resourcing is currently recruiting a Commercial Property Lawyer on behalf of our client, who are an exciting organisation going through a period of exponential growth, within the renewables sector. This role can be worked on a hybrid basis, with travel into the Abingdon office a couple of times a month. This role will suit a qualified Solicitor with good commercial property/development experience within a Real Estate department of a national or city firm.

Salary: up to £75,000 per annum + bonus
Location: Abingdon (hybrid working)

The role:
- A great opportunity to work on a wide and diverse range of projects within an exciting and fast-moving sector.
- Predominantly working within a commercial property role with an energy focus, although you will have exposure to the full range legal matters across the business. There will be an opportunity (and expectation) for the successful candidate to get involved in commercial, regulatory, corporate and company secretarial matters.
You will be responsible for advising on all property aspects as they relate to the organisations portfolio of generation and storage assets. This will include:
- Advising on the property aspects of company / business acquisitions – this will include reviewing reports on title and due diligence reports
- Supporting the development team in bringing bankable projects into the company’s portfolio – this will include options, leases and easements
- Supporting the construction team with ad hoc matters, to include licence and access agreements
- Supporting the organisations ongoing bank financings, including assisting with the preparation of certificates on title
- Instructing external counsel where required.
Experience required:
- Qualified Solicitor (SRA/Law Society Registered) with experience within a mid-level legal counsel role
- Sound commercial property/development experience within the real estate department of a national/city firm
- Commercially aware with a keen interest to understand the organisations business and sector
- The ability to manage multiple workloads and prioritise effectively
- The ability to form strong working relations with a wide variety of stakeholders includes shareholders, directors, colleagues, landowners, and external counsel
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
