Prince Talent & Resourcing are currently recruiting a HR Advisor on behalf of our client, who are within the technology sector. This is a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover) and is based in Burnley, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. Role: HR Advisor

Location: Burnley

Salary: up to £27,500 per annum + benefits

Duration: 12 month FTC (maternity cover) to start ASAP

Reporting directly into the HR Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting various business units across the company and providing a HR advisory service, whilst working closely with HR Business Partners and the HR Assistant.

Role includes (but is not limited to):

• Support Managers on all employee related matters including flexible working requests, disciplinary, investigations and absence meetings.
• Developing/updating and advising on HR policies and procedures
• Reporting on key HR Data/KPI’s
• Supporting the HR Business Partner on any ad-hoc and projects/activities
• Ensuring all payroll related changes are processed in line with deadlines such as new starters, leavers and contract changes.
• Management of the Maternity, Paternity, Shared Parental & Adoption leave process end to end.

To be successful with this position you will have the following;

• Proven background within a HR Advisory or HR Assistant role with solid exposure of working across various generalist HR functions
• Strong understanding of employee relations and general HR principles
• CIPD qualification or equivalent
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Available immediately or at short notice
